The Gathering: July 26 at 7pm Light Box (tentative)

The Gathering is a showcase event highlighting choreography, community, and creativity. Each performance is a uniquely curated sample of San Diego’s dance companies and artists. This event offers artists and audience members alike a chance to engage with one another in an intimate, interactive format that encourages conversation and discovery.

A community that dances together, grows together. With this symbiotic relationship in mind, ticket proceeds will fund emerging choreographers through the Orion Choreographic Fellowship. Awardees will have the opportunity for their work to be shown at future Gathering performances and to share their works in progress with the community’s support.

With The Gathering, Ballet Counterpointe and West Coast Dance Complex are bringing the members of the San Diego dance community together and providing a space where we can all appreciate and learn from each other’s work.
